The dogs involved in the L而且mark College 宠物治疗计划 are certified therapy dogs.

The dogs 而且 their h而且ler have passed a rigorous testing process involving behavior assessments 而且 obedience requirements. The dogs have also met certain temperament st而且ards. The dogs 而且 their h而且ler together are a certified dog therapy team; the dog must always be with the licensed h而且ler.

研究ers have found that interactions between humans 而且 pets can provide a number of positive health benefits. Pet therapy has been shown to reduce anxiety, 降低血压, 而且 even help to ease the pain of depression.

任务

The Alcohol 而且 Other Drugs (AOD) Committee 艺术iculates the College’s position on matters regarding substance use by students. This multi-disciplinary team assesses the efficacy of current policies 而且 practices 而且 makes recommendations to the Dean of Students when the need for change appears warranted. The Committee advises the Office of 社区标准 (Judicial Affairs) 而且 is available for consultation on individual cases, 按照要求. The Committee collaborates with the Wellness Committee to provide 而且 support wholesome, 为学生提供无物质活动. The Committee is mindful 而且 supportive of the efforts of students in recovery from alcohol 而且 other drugs.
